DENVER (June 22, 2015) – Denver Based Jordy Carter Furnishings recently completed furnishing the new 350,000 square foot St. Anthony North Health Campus at 14300 Orchard Parkway in Westminster, Colo. The new campus boasts 92 inpatient rooms, including a 20-room intensive care unit, a 12-room birthing center and a 24-hour emergency room – all with features designed to aid the healing process by making patients more comfortable during their stay.
“Our experience working with Suzan and the Jordy Carter team on the build of our new health campus was very positive,” said Tami Taylor, Vice President of Operations for St. Anthony North Health Campus. “Their team worked closely with us to choose furniture which would help create the warm, healing environment we were striving for in our space. Suzan and her team made the process seamless and easy.”
Jordy Carter furnished nine waiting rooms, 60 private offices, 92 patient rooms, five conference rooms, one board room, four staff lounges, three training rooms and one care. The scope of work included space planning, furniture selection, furniture finish selections and installation. Jordy Carter completed the project over four phases, working closely with GE Johnson to install furniture as various construction deadlines were met. This allowed the hospital to open fully furnished shortly after construction was complete.
The new $177 million facility features a combination of furniture solutions from various manufacturers including Kimball Office. The Jordy Carter team worked closely with St. Anthony North leadership to finalize a furniture package that et their specific aesthetic, functionality and budget requirements for the hospital. Wood floors, colorful wallpaper, extensive artwork, floor-to-ceiling windows, and natural stone add light, warmth and serenity to the space. The campus also features a retail pharmacy, wellness classes, drop-in childcare and three gardens focused on community, healing and prayer.
“Jordy Carter Furnishings has significant experience furnishing healthcare environments,” said Suzan Mullett, Director of Sales Operations for Jordy Carter Furnishings. “We understand that every element of the space has an effect on the overall patient experience – from the fabrics to the furniture to the space plan. together with the team at St. Anthony North, we are proud to have created a peaceful healing environment that feels more like a resort than a hospital.”
